All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to Heidelberg Township. The materials specified herein shall meet the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications. Escalator clause will apply. The successful bond with suitable, reasonable requirements, guaranteeing performance of the contract or delivery to be made with sufficient surety in the amount of 100% of the amount contracted within 20 days after the contract is awarded.
