Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of Chestnuthill Township ("Board") will hold a hearing at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building at 271 Route 715, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on Monday, November 10, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, regarding an appeal of Michael Horstman ("Applicant") from an Enforcement Notice dated August 28, 2025. The Enforcement Notice alleges that the Applicant is in violation of Section 119-3 of the Chestnuthill Township Zoning Ordinance ("Zoning Ordinance") because he did not apply for a zoning permit to construct an addition to an existing detached garage at property located at 1867 Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. In addition to appealing from the Enforcement Notice, Applicant seeks variances to the aforementioned sections of the Zoning Ordinance. All persons are welcome to attend and be heard. If you are a person with a disability and wish to attend this hearing, and require an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to participate in the proceedings, please contact the Chestnuthill Township Office at 570-992-7247 to discuss how Chestnuthill Township may best accommodate your needs.
