NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE WHICH AMENDS THE SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES.
Notice is Hereby Given that the Borough Council of Catasauqua Borough of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, will consider for adoption at its public meeting on April 6, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. held at Borough Hall at 90 Bridge Street, Catasauqua 18032, an ordinance entitled and summarized as follows:
Ordinance No: 1461
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING WATER RATE INCREASE FOR PENNVEST LOAN PROVIDING FUNDING FOR NEW WATER METERS AND COMMITTING TO WATER RATE INCREASES REQUIRED TO ENSURE REPAYMENT OF SAID LOAN.
The proposed ordinance updates the water fees set forth in Resolution 3 of 2025 and creates a debt servicing fee of $10 per quarter as part of the water fees to secure and repay the Pennvest Loan for new water meters. The total rate increase including the debt servicing fee shall be 14.7% and the Borough commits to set future water rates as required to comply with the terms of this loan.

Notice is hereby given that on April 22, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., the Nesquehoning Borough Council will conduct a public hearing in the Borough Building, 114 West Catawissa Street, Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania.
The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss, inform and receive public comments on proposed Amendment of the Zoning Ordinance for Nesquehoning Borough. The Borough Council will be considering an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance relating to specific standards
for the regulation of Data Centers within the Borough. The proposed amendments address the following:
Section 1. Part 2, Section 27-202 Definitions to be amended to include definitions for Data Center, Data Center accessory Use and Data Center Campus
Section 2. Zoning Use Controls, Section 22-404.1 (Schedule 27-1) to be amended to add a row beneath F 9SIC-40-49) to have land use category as 4 and Data Centers to be added with a special use designation in the I-1 district
Section 3. A New section 27-609.D to be added relative to Data Centers, Data Center Accessory Uses and Data Center Campuses with attendant regulations thereunder including but not limited to Design and Installation for Data Centers; Decommissioning; Setbacks, Placement and Height Restrictions for Data Centers; Connection and Operation in Conjunction with Public Electrical Systems

Notice is further given that the Nesquehoning Borough Council, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, will conduct its regular meeting on April 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Borough Building, 114 West Catawissa Street, Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania which will include consideration of the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to Data Centers.
At the Meeting, the Borough Council will discuss, inform and receive public comments on the proposed Data Center amendment to the zoning Ordinance for Nesquehoning Borough. The Borough Council intends to consider adoption of the amendment pertaining to Data Centers to the Zoning Ordinance for Nesquehoning Borough.
