Leasing of Agricultural Land
The Township of North Whitehall is soliciting bids for the leasing of tillable acreage located within the Township.
Bids will be received until 9:00 AM prevailing time, Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Township Municipal Building, (Ironton) Coplay, PA, and will be publicly opened at approximately 9:15 AM that same day. Any proposals received later than the specified time will not be considered.
Necessary bid forms and instructions may be obtained at the Township Office, 3256 Levans Road, Coplay, PA Monday through Thursday 8 AM till 4 PM.
The lease of this land shall be made to the best responsible bidder.
The North Whitehall Township Board of Supervisors hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the East Penn Township Board of Supervisors until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the East Penn Township Municipal Building, 167 Municipal Road, Lehighton, PA 18235 for the following:
72,522 S.Y. Single Asphalt Seal Coat
All materials must meet PennDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification.
Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals should be marked "2026 Seal Coat Bid Proposal". Proposal forms, specifications, and bid information can be obtained from Township Engineer, Hanover Engineering Associates. Please call 570-688-9550 or email mmuffley@hanovereng.com.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to East Penn Township.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract.
PA Prevailing Wages will not apply to this contract.
All proposals will be opened and read at approximately 3:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Township Municipal Building and pending review awarded at the April 7, 2026, regularly scheduled Township Meeting at approximately 6:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.
The East Penn Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete sections or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
