The Borough of Emmaus is accepting letters of interest for anyone interested in filling an open seat on Emmaus Borough Council. The term will be for the remainder of the previous Council member's term through December 31, 2027. To be eligible you must be a registered voter and a Borough of Emmaus resident for no less than 1 year. Letters of interest may be submitted at Borough Hall, 28 S. 4th Street, Emmaus or emailed to the Borough Manager at spepe@emmauspa.gov no later than until Friday, June 12, 2026, at 4:00PM. Borough Council intends to appoint a new Council member at the June 15th Council meeting.

The City of Bethlehem will receive sealed Bids online via the PennBid Program
(https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) for 2026 15 Emergency Supply Water Connections until 10:00am, June 17, 2026, at which time they shall be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid's website.
Plans and specifications are available at no cost on PennBid. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on June 10, 2026, at 10:00am / 2225 Florence Ave., Bethlehem PA 18018 to answer any questions. All prospective bidders are required to attend.
The bid will be awarded as two (2) individual prime contracts:
Contract 1 – General Construction
Contract 2 – Electrical Construction
