AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF TAMAQUA, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, REVISING AND AMENDING SECTION 326-26 OF THE BOROUGH OF TAMAQUA CODE OF ORDINANCES ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, ARTICLE III PARKING, SECTION 326-26 - PARKING PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN LOCATIONS.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania and it is hereby enacted and ordained by the authority of the same as follows:
Section 326-26 of the Borough of Tamaqua Code shall hereby by revised and amended such that parking shall be prohibited at all times, with "No Parking" signs to be erected on the North side of East End Avenue between South Elizabeth Street and Laurel Street. All other provisions of Section 326-26 shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be impacted or effected by this Ordinance.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Borough Council of Jim Thorpe Borough, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, to be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., prevailing time, in the Memorial Hall, 115 East 10th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229. The Ordinance is entitled.. "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CHAPTER OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE CODE. A summary of the contents of the Ordinance is as follows:
1. Section 26-5 shall be amended to provide that the Department Officers of the Fire Department will consist of a Fire Chief and three Deputy Fire Chiefs.
2. Section 26-6 shall be amended to provide that the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chiefs must be full-time residents of the Borough or reside within a five-mile radius of the corporate limits of the Borough of Jim Thorpe.

Coplay Borough, Lehigh County, PA will receive single prime bids until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on September 30, 2025, for the roadway improvements for the 11th Street Roadway Improvement project in Coplay, PA.
The project will be awarded under one (1) Prime Contract. Printed copies of the Plans and specifications are available at no cost on Bonfire, formerly known as PennBid (https://vendor.gobonfire.com).
Bid Submission:
Bids must be submitted electronically through Bonfire. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price, made payable to the Owner and issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Certified checks shall be delivered to the office of the Architect.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.
This project is subject to the provisions of the Borough Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All applicable State labor laws, administrative requirements, and the Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements shall apply as specified in the Bid Documents.
This project is funded in part with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. In accordance with CDBG requirements, the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal is 5% and the Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goal is 3%. The successful bidder shall submit documentation demonstrating compliance with these goals through the use of MBE/WBE subcontractors or vendors. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a determination of non-responsibility. Additional information can be found in the technical specifications, which are available at no cost on Bonfire.

The Borough of Coplay reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Borough.
