Pursuant to 16 P.S. § 2506, the County of Carbon, as the presumptive owner, is offering to sell via quitclaim deed only that certain parcel of surplus real estate identified as Tax Parcel ID No. 42A-49-K60, located on Princeton Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, comprising approximately 0.189 acres, to the highest bidder in "as-is" condition for not less than fair market value of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00). Note that the successful bidder will be solely responsible for any and all fees and costs associated with the transfer of ownership, including obtaining a complete and accurate metes and bounds legal description of the above-referenced property as necessary for the County to prepare the quitclaim deed. Bids will be accepted in sealed envelopes in the office of the County Controller, Carbon County Administration Building, 2nd Floor, P.O. Box 59, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229 on or before 3:30 p.m., prevailing time, Friday, October 10, 2025. Bidders must submit one only bid per envelope, clearly indicating Parcel ID No. 42A-49-K60, as set forth above on the outside of the sealed envelope.
