NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Upper Macungie, in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania (the "Township"), shall consider and, if appropriate enact, at a public meeting to be held at the Upper Macungie Township Building, 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville, Pennsylvania 18031, at 7:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, an ordinance (the "Ordinance"), the caption and summary of such proposed Ordinance 2025-03 being as follows:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER MACUNGIE, LEHIGH COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AUTHORIZING, FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, THE CONDEMNATION AND TAKING BY EMINENT DOMAIN OF: 1) A PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT (SUBSURFACE RIGHTS) AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AND 2) A FEE SIMPLE INTEREST OVER A CERTAIN UNOPENED RIGHT OF WAY KNOWN AS STEEPLECHASE LANE AND TO WHICH THE OWNERS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES BEING IDENTIFIED AS: 1) TAX PARCEL ID NO. 547526130304-1 (COMMONLY KNOWN AS 6023 PALOMINO DRIVE) N/F PROPERTY OF MOHAMMED A. The proposed Ordinance is available for public inspection in the office of the Township Secretary, located in the Upper Macungie Township Municipal Building, 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, on any regular business day Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A copy of the Ordinance may also be examined at the offices of The Lehigh Valley Press, 1633 North 26th Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania as well as the Lehigh County Law Library located at 501 West Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania where it may be inspected.
