Notice is hereby provided that the Board of Commissioners of South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18104, for the purpose of voting on whether or not to enact a proposed zoning ordinance amendment. AN ORDINANCE OF SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP (LEHIGH COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA) AMENDING PART II ("GENERAL LEGISLATION"), CHAPTER 350 ("ZONING") OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES TO ADD "DATA CENTER" AS A NEW USE TO SECTION 350-48(D)(2), ADD SECTION 350-33 TO CREATE A PLANNED INNOVATION, RESEARCH, AND TECHNOLOGY (PIRT) OVERLAY DISTRICT AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE PIRT DISTRICT, ADD ATTACHMENT 4 – APPENDIX D: PIRT DESIGN GUIDELINES, AMEND THE ZONING MAP TO IDENTIFY THE BOUNDARY OF THE PIRT OVERLAY DISTRICT, AND PROVIDE FOR A REPEALER, FAILURE TO ENFORCE NOT A WAIVER, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

Whitehall Township will be conducting PLUMBING EXAMS for Master and Journeyman Licenses on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
If interested, you may secure an application for these exams at the Development Office of the Township Municipal Building, 3219 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA, 18052, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
EXAM FEE: Master Plumber - $ 100.00
Journeyman Plumber - $ 50.00
Payment must be check, cash, or money order. This fee will include the 2026 license if the exam is passed.
