NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED BIDS will be accepted by the Borough Council of Bowmanstown Borough (Carbon County) until November 4, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. (prevailing time) and will be publicly announced during the Borough Council Meeting scheduled for November 11, 2025 at approximately 7:00 P.M. or as soon as thereafter as the agenda allows for the following contract: "Leasing Municipal Land for Solar Development" Bid Proposal.
The project consists of installing a solar photovoltaic energy system on land leased by the Borough in East Penn Township. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Request for Proposal. The entire project will be awarded to one solar energy developer.
All documents and project details are available at no cost from the Borough. For further information contact the Borough office at 610-852-2455, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All bids must be in accordance with the Request for Proposal for "Leasing Municipal Land for Solar Development."
The Borough Council of Bowmanstown reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interests of the Borough.
