NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Borough of Slatington will consider the following proposed Ordinance at a public hearing on Monday, October 13. 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be held at Borough Hall, 125 South Walnut Street, Slatington, Pennsylvania. The following is a summary of the proposed Ordinance: Proposed Ordinance No. 724 ORDINANCE APPROVING COLLECTION PROCEDURES AND ADOPTING INTEREST AND SCHEDULE OF ATTORNEY FEES AND CHARGES TO BE ADDED TO THE AMOUNT COLLECTED AS PART OF UNPAID MUNICIPAL CLAIMS FOR DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS Inspection and copies of the complete proposed ordinance is available for review by the public at Borough Hall, by contacting the administration office, and will also be on file at this newspaper. NOTICE TO BIDDERS South Whitehall Township is soliciting bids for the following: BID #2025-07 41st. STREET WELL SITE 4-LOG PIPING IMPROVEMENTS A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the 41st Street well site station located at 4050 Chew Street and 41st Street, Allentown, PA 18104. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting/site visit is mandatory for a bid to be considered. Online sealed bids shall be submitted via the PennBid Program until 10:00 a.m. on October 10, 2025. Paper bids will not be accepted. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except for any fees that the successful bidder may be responsible for paying directly to PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. On October 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., South Whitehall Township will receive the sealed bids and open them online, with results being made public via PennBid. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid.
