NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors of Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, that it is their intention to consider and act upon proposed Ordinance No. 25-04 entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LYNN TOWNSHIP, LEHIGH COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, TOWNSHIP OF LYNN, ESTABLISHING A VOLUNTEER SERVICE CREDIT PROGRAM; ENACTING TAX CREDITS FOR VOLUNTEER MEMBERS OF VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANIES; AND ESTABLISHING ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES AND APPEALS" at a public meeting to be held on November 13, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lynn Township Municipal Building located at 7911 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
Briefly summarized, the proposed Ordinance would amend the Lynn Township Code of Ordinances to establish a tax credit incentive for the residents of Lynn Township actively engaged in service with eligible volunteer fire companies that provide essential emergency services to the Township and its residents.
A certified copy of this Ordinance is on file with the Lynn Township Secretary and may be inspected by the public during normal business hours. In addition, a true and correct copy of this Ordinance has been supplied to this newspaper.
