The Lower Towamensing Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lower Towamensing Township Municipal Building, located at 595 Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA 18071, to hear the following request: Kyle Strohl is proposing to construct a new single-family dwelling on property located at 1060 Stoney Ridge Road. The property is located in an R-C (Rural Conservation) zoning district. Section 406 of the Lower Towamensing Township Zoning Ordinance requires a minimum rear yard setback of 40' in the R-C Zoning District. A variance is requested to reduce the setback to 20', which requires action of the Zoning Hearing Board. The Zoning Hearing Board will take testimony, deliberate and may vote on this request at this hearing.
