SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP LEGAL PUBLIC NOTICE The Board of Commissioners of South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, beginning at 7:00 PM, at the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building, which is located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18104, for the purpose of voting on whether or not to enact a proposed ordinance. The proposed new Ordinance, of which this Notice is a summary, includes the following: AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND ACKNOWLEDGING THAT BY OPERATION OF LAW PURSUANT TO THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPALITY AUTHORITIES ACT, SPECIFICALLY 53 PA.C.S.A. SECTION 5619(c), ANY AND ALL PROPERTY OF THE SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP AUTHORITY HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE TOWNSHIP AND THE AUTHORITY CEASED TO EXIST AS OF THE DATE OF RECORDING OF THE CERTIFICATE OF TERMINATION WITH THE LEHIGH COUNTY RECORDER OF DEEDS DIVISION ON OCTOBER 22, 2025 AND TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR A REPEALER, SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE A copy of the proposed ordinance in full-text is available for public inspection at the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104 during normal business hours where it may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof, or for inspection during normal business hours at the offices of this newspaper.
