The public hereby are advised that the Council of the Borough of Walnutport has tentatively scheduled adoption of the 2026 Final Budget at their meeting to be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall located at 417 Lincoln Avenue, Walnutport, PA 18088. Coinciding with the adoption of the 2026 Final Budget will be the adoption of Ordinance No.: 2025-04 Fixing the General Purpose Tax Levy for 2026 Borough of Walnutport Real Estate Tax at (21.75) mills, the full text of which appears below. Notice is hereby given that a copy of the 2026 Preliminary Budget for the Borough of Walnutport shall be available for inspection during the period from November 25, 2025 through December 11, 2025 inclusive on regular business days at regular business hours at the Walnutport Borough Municipal Building, 417 Lincoln Avenue, Walnutport, PA 18088. ORDINANCE # 2025-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WALNUTPORT COUNTY OF NORTHAMPTON, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA FIXING THE GENERAL PURPOSE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 2026. BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED, and it hereby is enacted and ordained by the Council of the Borough of Walnutport, County of Northampton and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as follows: SECTION 1: That a tax be, and the same hereby levied on all real property within the Borough subject to taxation for the fiscal year 2026 as follows: Tax rate for general purposes: the sum of (21.75) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation. SECTION 2: All other, previously imposed taxes and levies are re-enacted at the same rates charged in 2025, except those as may be modified pursuant to formal action of said Council. SECTION 3: Any ordinance, or part of any ordinance, conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same hereby is repealed insofar as the same affects the Ordinance. Michael F.
