NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Borough Council of Jim Thorpe Borough, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, to be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., prevailing time, at 115 E. Tenth Street, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229. The Ordinance is entitled.. "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE AMENDING CHAPTER 355 REGARDING SEWERS AND CHAPTER 431 REGARDING WATER. A summary of the contents of the Ordinance is as follows: 1. The Ordinance is being updated to acknowledge the tap in fee studies performed by Keystone Alliance Consulting in December 2023. 2. Section 431-4 is being amended and restated to detail the connection fee, customer facilities fee and tap in fees to be assessed.
