SALISBURY TOWNSHIP The Salisbury Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00 PM in the Township Municipal Building located at 2900 S. Pike Ave, Allentown, PA 18103. The meeting will be held to hear the following cases: 940 South 24th Street (Appeal No. 25-0025) – Appeal of Jonathan Solano requesting variance relief as stated below to maintain a shed, roof over the rear patio, expanded driveway, pool, pool deck, pool fence, and concrete patio. The property is located within the R4, Medium Density Residential District. 1. §27-307.2.B – The minimum lot square footage required is 6000 square feet: the proposed property is currently 3005 square feet. 2. §27-307.2.B – The minimum lot width at the minimum front yard building setback line in feet requirement is 50 feet; the proposed property would be 30'-2" (thirty feet and two inches). 3. §27-307.2.B – The setback requirement of the dwelling is 6' (six feet) away from each side property line with a minimum of 18' (eighteen feet) for both side yards added together; the proposed property is 6' (six feet) with a total added together of 12' (twelve feet). 505 East Emmaus Avenue (Appeal No. 25-0453) – Appeal of Joshua M. Walsh and J. Walsh Development LLC requesting special exception approval pursuant to §27-120, §27-306 (27 Attachment 2) and §27-402.1.Q to convert an existing building into 2 apartments and variance relief pursuant to §27-601, Table 6.1 to reduce the amount of parking that is required for the uses at the property (Required number of parking spaces needed for the conversion of the building to 2 apartments is 2 per dwelling unit. The existing office requires 1 space per 250 square feet of net leasable floor area; 1104 square feet of office area requires 5 spaces. A total of 9 spaces required.
