NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Borough Council of Lehighton Borough, Carbon County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 6:30 P.M., prevailing time, at the at the Lehighton Municipal Building located at 1 Constitution Avenue, Lehighton, Pennsylvania: the ordinance is entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF LEHIGHTON, CARBON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 213 OF THE LEHIGHTON BOROUGH CODE. A summary of the contents of the Ordinance is as follows: 1. Section 213-77(c) of the Lehighton Borough Code shall be amended designating the emergency routes during a snow emergency. These routes include portions of Bankway, Bridge Street, Coal Street, First Street, Iron Street, Mahoning Street, Ninth Street, North Street, South Street, Ochre Street, Constitution Avenue, Stanley Hoffman Blvd., Sixth Street, Second Street, Third Street and Twelfth Street. 2. Section 23-77(B) shall be amended providing routes upon which parking is restricted during snow emergencies.
