North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County will receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for a project known as the Apple Road Stormwater Improvements Project. This work will include the removal a basin sediment, installation of a gabion and earthen berm, and associated erosion control features. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM (prevailing time) at the North Whitehall Township Building, 3256 Levans Road, Coplay, PA 18037. Bids will be received until 9:00 AM (prevailing time) on Monday, April 27, 2026. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after Owner's bid evaluation and review. Copies of the Specifications/Bid Forms are available at no cost on PennBid (https://PennBid.bonfirehub.com). Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the North Whitehall Township in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act.
