IN THE UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 8330 SCHANTZ ROAD, BREINIGSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA 18031.
ORDINANCE 2026-05 PROPOSES TO AMEND CHAPTER 15 (MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC), PART 2 (TRAFFIC REGULATIONS) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER MACUNGIE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC ON CERTAIN STREETS LOCATED WITHIN UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP; SAID REQUIREMENTS BEING SET FORTH MORE FULLY IN THE BODY OF THE ORDINANCE. SPECIFICALLY, THE ORDINANCE SHALL PROHIBIT TRUCKS HAVE A LENGTH OF OVER THRITY (30') FEET FROM UTILIZING HAAF ROAD BETWEEEN MAIN STREET AND ADAMS ROAD.
A COPY OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE SHALL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 8330 SCHANTZ ROAD, BREINIGSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M. AND 4:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS AND ON FILE AT THE PARKLAND PRESS, 1633 N 26TH ST #6, ALLENTOWN, PA 18104 AS WELL AS THE LEHIGH COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF LAW LOCATED AT LEHIGH COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER 17 SOUTH 7TH STREET ALLENTOWN, PA 18101 WHERE IT MAY BE INSPECTED.
THE GENERAL PUBLIC SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO ATTEND AND BE HEARD.

The Carbon County Housing Authority (CCHA) will have available to review the agency's 2026 Annual Plan, along with required attachments and documents, at CCHA's Lehighton office, 215 South Third Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania. The documents will be available May 4th, 2026, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with comments being accepted until May 19th, 2026. A rescheduled Public Hearing will be conducted on May 12th at 10:00am to discuss the 2026 Annual Plan. The Public Hearing will be held at the Lansford Mid-Rise 430 Bertsch St. Lansford, PA 18232.
