NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR THE RENOVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE EXISTING OUTDOOR POOL
The Borough of Cressona is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting teams to complete a feasibility study for the renovation and improvement of the Borough's existing outdoor pool.
The study will evaluate the condition of the existing facility, community and market demand, renovation and modernization options, broader recreation-complex opportunities, order-of-magnitude costs, operational and funding considerations, and phased implementation strategies. The study is intended to support Borough decision-making regarding the long-term future of this community and regional recreational asset.
This work will be funded in partnership by the Borough of Cressona through EIT funds and the Blue Mountain Recreation Commission.
Proposal submissions are due no later than Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. local time.
An optional pre-proposal site visit will be held on May 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Borough's outdoor pool complex and/or another Borough-designated location identified in the posted RFP or any addendum.
All written questions must be submitted by May 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. A consolidated question-and-answer document and any addenda will be posted publicly by May 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
