NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing of the Board of Supervisors of West Penn Township shall be held at the West Penn Township Municipal Building, 27 Municipal Road, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, on June 1, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., for the purpose of receiving public comment on proposed West Penn Township Ordinance No. 2 of 2026: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE WEST PENN TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE BY ESTABLISHING DATA CENTERS AND CRYPTO CURRENCY MINING AS USES PERMITTED BY SPECIAL EXCEPTION IN THE HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL AND EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS; ADDING CERTAIN DEFINITIONS AND PROVIDING SPECIFIC USE STANDARDS AND PROVISIONS FOR DECOMMISSIONING FOR DATA CENTERS AND CRYPTO CURRENCY MINING; AND PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER, PROVISIONS REGARDING VALIDITY AND THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE.
