PUBLIC NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF A NPDES APPLICATION FOR INDIVIDUAL PERMIT TO DISCHARGE INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER The application proposes an NPDES Application for Individual Permit to Discharge Industrial Wastewater at the existing Little Leaf Farms Agricultural Facility. The site is located at 18 East Kline Road, McAdoo, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The application requests approval to discharge stormwater from the Little Leaf Farms commercial greenhouse operation. Irrigation water treated by reverse osmosis will be recycled back into Little Leaf Farms' greenhouse irrigation operations or used to water vegetation adjacent to the greenhouses via spray irrigation. Concentrate from the irrigation water treatment operations will be managed by an evaporation system. Copies of this application are available for review and copying at the PADEP Northeast Regional Office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701-1915, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Public comments may be provided within 30 days of the final newspaper notice publication. PADEP will also consider all comments from the public during the permit review process.
