The Borough Council of the Borough of Alburtis, at its regular meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the Alburtis Borough Hall, 260 Franklin Street, Alburtis, Pennsylvania 18011, will consider, and may thereafter enact, an ordinance entitled and summarized as follows: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING ENTRY-LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING TO FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES REQUIRING SUCH TRAINING TO ACQUIRE A CLASS B COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYEES TO REIMBURSE THE BOROUGH FOR THE COST OF THE TRAINING IF THEY FAIL TO OBTAIN THE LICENSE WITHIN ONE YEAR OR WHOSE EMPLOYMENT TERMINATES WITHIN TWO YEARS (EXCEPT IN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES); AND REVISING ALBURTIS CODIFIED ORDINANCES § 36-401 (RELATING TO FEES UNDER THE RESIDENTIAL RENTAL PROPERTY ORDINANCE) TO ADD A ONE HUNDRED FORTY DOLLAR ($140.00) FEE FOR AN INSPECTION FOLLOWING A FAILURE TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE INSPECTOR AT THE TIME THE INSPECTION WAS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED, AND TO MAKE CLARIFICATIONS.
