Notice is hereby given that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania to be held on July 7, 2026 at 7:00 P.M prevailing time at the Lower Towamensing Township Municipal Building located at 595 Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA. "An Ordinance of the Township of Lower Towamensing, Carbon County Defining and Regulating the Display and Discharge of Fireworks, Requiring Permits and the Posting of a Bond for their use and Prescribing Penalties for Violation." A summary of the contents of the Ordinance are as follows: Article I: 1. Section 1 Authority and Intent 2. Word Usage; Definitions 3. Use of Consumer Fireworks. This section sets forth regulations on the use of consumer fireworks. 4. Use of Display Fireworks. This section sets forth regulations on the use of display fireworks. 5. Miscellaneous. Incorporates Pennsylvania Statutes and Code requirements to be complied with. 6. Violation or Public Safety. 7. Penalty Article II Severability: Article III Repealer: Article IV Effective Date: The full text of the Ordinance in its entirety may be examined at the Lower Towamensing Township Municipal Building located at Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. LEHIGH VALLEY TRANSPORTATION STUDY PROJECT SELECTION PROCESS IN-PERSON WORKSHOP MEETING The LVTS Technical Committee will host a workshop on June 24 at 2 PM, in-person at 615 Waterfront Dr, Suite 201, Allentown, PA 18102. The purpose of the workshop is to review and advance the Project Selection Process for the update to FutureLV: The Regional Plan. The LEHIGH VALLEY TRANSPORTATION STUDY (MPO) is committed to compliance with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, executive orders, regulations and policies applicable to the programs and activities it administers.
