CITY OF BETHLEHEM NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND BETHLEHEM CITY COUNCIL MEETING PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE PART 13 Notice is hereby given of the intention to consider an Ordinance to amend Part 13 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Bethlehem, titled "Zoning Ordinance". Final Reading is anticipated to take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM in Town Hall, 10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Title and summary of the Ordinance follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BETHLEHEM, COUNTIES OF LEHIGH AND NORTHAMPTON, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING PART 13 OF THE CITY OF BETHLEHEM CODIFIED ORDINANCES, TITLED "ZONING ORDINANCE", FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGULATING DATA CENTER USES. Summary of the Ordinance is as follows: The Ordinance amends Part 13, titled "Zoning Ordinance", to add a definition for a "Data Center" use; to provide for approval of Data Centers by special exception; to modify the zoning districts in which a Data Center is permitted; to add dimensional requirements for the location of Data Centers; to require the submission of certain studies as a condition of approving a Data Center use; and repealing any inconsistent ordinances.
