In accordance with the U.S Department of Justice Policy and the Bureau of Justice Assistance requirements, the Bethlehem Police Department is pleased to make its intentions known to receive Federal funding available for public review and comment. The Department is applying for $16,711 in funding through the 2026 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG). The grant will be used by the Department to upgrade or expand the City's intersection camera network. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
CONCRETE WORK
The Borough of Emmaus, Lehigh County, PA will receive sealed bids for concrete work for a project at Lions Park, 601 North Street, Emmaus PA. The work includes 320 linear feet of radius curbing and 95 linear feet of sidewalk. This project is funded by a PA DCNR grant.
All work must be completed by Friday, November 13, 2026.
Bids shall be made in writing and in compliance with the requirements of the grant, including prevailing wages. Copies of the bid specifications, grant requirements, and additional information can be obtained by contacting Shane Pepe, Borough Manager, by email spepe@emmauspa.gov or by phone at 610-966-6357. The Borough may consider bids in an electronic format.
Bidders shall submit (2) bids; 1 bid which includes concrete being supplied by the bidder and 1 bid which includes concrete being supplied by the Borough. Bids shall be marked "Lions Park Concrete Work" and must be received in the Borough Manager's Office by 12:00PM, Monday, October 12, 2026.
Bids shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days.
The Borough of Emmaus reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all Bids, and to enter into such a Contract as may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough of Emmaus.
