INVITATION FOR BIDS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the Board of Supervisors of Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, moving its regular October meeting from Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, to Thursday, October 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, the sealed bid proposals for the following will be opened and read publicly at the Board of Supervisors' meeting on Thursday, October 7, 2026, prevailing time, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows: (1) 15,000 Gallons Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD), 15 ppm, Dyed (for off-road equipment only): Delivered; (2) 2,000 Gallons Ultra-Low Sulfur Heating Oil (ULSHO), 15 ppm; Delivered; (3) 1,000 Tons PA-2A Subbase: Delivered; (4) 300 Tons Superpave Binder Course, 19.0 mm: FOB Plant; (5) 600 Tons PennDOT Type AS3 Anti-Skid: Delivered; (6) 1,000 Tons AASHTO No. 8: Delivered; (7) 1,000 Tons AASHTO No. 8, Type A, with a 1.0% Loss by Wash (washed for Bituminous Seal Cost application): Delivered; and (8) 5,000 Gallons Emulsified Asphalt Material, either Class RS-2PM (Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt) or Class CRS-2PM (Polymer-Modified Cationic Emulsified Asphalt): FOB Plant.
