Appeal #18-2026 of Kevin Gunkel seeks relief concerning real estate located at 1928 Vintage Drive, Bethlehem Township, Northampton County. The relief requested is a dimensional variance from Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-190.D(5)(c) which requires an overhead structure, located on a deck or patio, to meet the setback criteria for a principal structure and from Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-58.D(1) which requires a minimum 30-foot rear yard setback for principal buildings. The applicant requests a 21-foot rear yard setback to construct a pavilion on a patio, thereby seeking a variance of nine (9) feet. The real estate is located in the Medium-High-Density Residential (MHDR) District, maintains Northampton County Tax Parcel Identification Number N8 22 17 0205 and is described in Northampton County Deed Book Volume 2026-1, Page 153654.
