NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, will hold a special meeting on Friday, September 12, 2025, beginning at 2:30 P.M., prevailing time, at the Penn Forest Township Building, 2010 State Route 903, in Penn Forest Township. The purpose of this meeting is to declare whether or not the Penn Forest Township Zoning Ordinance of 2011, as amended ("Zoning Ordinance"), or portions thereof, is substantially invalid for failing to permit data centers or data center accessory uses. If the Board of Supervisors determines that the Zoning Ordinance, or portions thereof, is substantially invalid for the foregoing reasons, it may enact a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP, CARBON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO SECTION 609.2 OF THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPALITIES PLANNING CODE DECLARING THE PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE OF 2011, AS AMENDED, SUBSTANTIALLY INVALID AND PROPOSING TO PREPARE A CURATIVE AMENDMENT TO OVERCOME SUCH INVALIDITY".
