NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Borough Council of Jim Thorpe Borough, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, to be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., prevailing time, in the Memorial Hall, 115 East 10th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229. The Ordinance is entitled.. "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CHAPTER OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE CODE. A summary of the contents of the Ordinance is as follows:
1. Section 109-2 shall be amended to provide that Subordinate to the Chief of Police will be the following officers: Sergeant, Corporal, Detective and Patrol Officer.
