NORTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP ZONING APPEAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of North Whitehall Township will be held in person at the North Whitehall Township Municipal Building- 3256 Levans Rd, Coplay PA 18037 on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm for the purpose of hearing the following Zoning Appeal: Appeal No. NWT-240-25-005, Imperial Realty Property Group LLC, Kornfeind Realty Co., 1611 Pond Rd, Suite 200, Allentown PA 18104, hereby requests Special Exception approval pursuant to Section 440-12.B, to construct a 8.65-acre solar field; with the use not specifically provided for within the North Whitehall Township Zoning Ordinance. The applicant requests an Interpretation on the provisions of Section 440-115 as they relate to Solar Energy as a principal use. In the alternative, the applicant requests a variance from Section 440-115. G.2 for impervious surface coverage (5% permitted, 18.4% proposed). A determination is requested for Section 440-661.E.1 & 2, requiring paving for parking, loading and driveways. In the alternative the applicant requests a variance from paving all driving and parking surfaces (applicant proposes a mix of gravel and grass). The applicant also seeks a variance from Section 440-79. D.1 for Buffer Yards (50' required, 40' proposed).
