Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of South Whitehall Township will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, November 5, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. in the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, 18104, pursuant to the First Class Township Code procedure specified in 53 P.S. Section 57007, to consider a proposed street vacation application described as follows and to determine whether the portion of the road identified should be vacated and removed from the public road system: Applicant Shane Smoyer submitted a Street Vacation Application to vacate by ordinance an unopened alley in South Whitehall Township named Orator Street, located to the immediate south of 1814 Frankenfield Street (PIN 549715660139), to the immediate north of Frankenfield Street Rear (PIN 549715659006) and 1819 West Columbia Street (PIN 549715643836), and with access to North Bird Street. All three properties are owned by SLS Properties LLC. The purpose of the hearing is to allow all affected or interested property owners to appear and be heard regarding the proposed vacation. Property owners abutting or adjacent to the subject road may offer comment, raise objections, or support the proposed vacation.
