EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIP NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET AND PROPOSED TAX LEVY ORDINANCE NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors of East Allen Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to Title 53 P.S. Section 66601 of the Second Township Code of Pennsylvania, as amended, of their intention to consider for enactment at their virtual meeting to be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM, Northampton, Pennsylvania, a proposed Budget for 2026 and a proposed Ordinance titled: An Ordinance of East Allen Township Setting the Real Estate Tax Rate for all Township Purposes for the Year 2026. A copy of the proposed Budget for 2026 and a copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined, and copies obtained, at the East Allen Township Municipal Building located at 5344 Nor-Bath Boulevard, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Tax rate for General Township purposes as described in Section 1709 (a) (1) of the First Class Township Code, the sum of 2.849750 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation or the sum of 28.49750 cents on each $100.00 of assessed valuation. B. Tax rate for Fire Tax purposes as described in Section 1709 (a) (2) (i) of the First Class Township Code, the sum of .75 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation or the sum of 7.5 cents on each $100.00 of assessed valuation.
