NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, will consider for adoption at a public meeting to be held at 7:00 P.M. on the 5th day of January, 2026, at the Bethlehem Township Municipal Building, 4225 Easton Avenue, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, an Ordinance amending Chapter 252, Vehicles and Traffic, Article II, Traffic and Section 252-15 Stop Intersections of the Codified Ordinances to provide for changes to the Stop Intersections located within the Township of Bethlehem, affecting Dewalt Street and Seventh Street. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for review at the Bethlehem Township Municipal Building located at 4225 Easton Avenue, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania during normal business hours. The following is the proposed Amendment to Ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. _______ - 26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BETHLEHEM, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 252, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC; ARTICLE II TRAFFIC AND SECTION 252-15 STOP INTERSECTIONS OF THE CODE OF CODIFIED ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE CHANGES TO THE STOP INTERSECTIONS LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF BETHLEHEM WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania have enacted, by Ordinance, certain regulations dealing, in part, with stop intersections, which Ordinance has been amended from time to time; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania has determined that it would be in the best interest of the Township of Bethlehem to amend its Ordinance to include additional stop intersections. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BETHLEHEM, COUNTY OF NORTHAMPTON, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA THAT CHAPTER 252, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC; ARTICLE II, TRAFFIC AND SECTION 252-15 STOP INTERSECTIONS OF THE CODE OF CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BETHLEHEM BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT TO THE STOP INTERSECTIONS PROVISIONS. A. Section 252-15 Stop Intersections, Miscellaneous; Article II, Traffic and Chapter 252, Vehicles and Traffic is hereby amended as follows: "Stop Street Intersection or Through Street Stop Sign Location Dewalt Street Seventh Street Southwest and Northeast Seventh Street Dewalt Street Northwest and southeast" SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY. The provisions of this Ordinance are severable, and if a court of competent jurisdiction declares any provision of this Ordinance to be invalid or ineffective in whole or in part, the effect of such decision shall be limited to those provisions which are expressly stated in the decision to be invalid or ineffective, and all other provisions of this Ordinance shall continue to be separately and fully effective. SECTION 3. REPEALER. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4.
