PROPOSED PHASE 2 RENOVATIONS
Sealed bids for re-bid of the HVAC portion of [Insert Project Here]Mahoning Township Proposed Phase 2 Renovations will be received by Mahoning Township, 2175 Blakeslee Blvd Dr. W, Lehighton, PA 18235, no later than 2pm on January 27, 2026.
The project consists of a new dehumidifier system for existing municipal office and police station.
Bids received after time specified above will not be accepted. Properly received bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately following deadline for receiving bids. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 11am on January 8, 2026 at the project site 2175 Blakeslee Blvd Dr. W, Lehighton, PA 18235. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for the HVAC prime.
Bid documents may be examined without charge or purchased at the office of Watkins Architect LTD, 239 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 412, Fleetwood, PA, 19522; Ph: 610-944-5536; email: yourteam@watkinsarchitect.com. Previous bidders can receive a new link for updated bid docs at no charge. For all new bidders, aA for each set of BID DOCUMENTS.. non-refundable fee of $25 to receive a share file link to download or $7530.00 per printed set is required to attain bid documents and be placed on the bidders list. First class mail delivery is available for an additional $306.00 per set. Checks made payable to "Watkins Architect".
Bids shall be accompanied by bid Security in the form of bid bond, cash, certified or bank cashier's check, certified check, treasurer's check or bid bond as provided in the bidding documents, with corporate rate surety satisfactorily in the form of not less than 10% of the base bid, naming as obligee[Insert Owner Here] Mahoning Township, to be retained and applied by the undersigned if bidder would default in executing agreement or furnishing the bonds and insurance certificates required by the contract documents.
Proerspective bidders are advised that this project is subject to and governed by provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act including amendments and supplements there-to. Bidders shall submit bids after considering the applicability of said Pennsylvania Wage Act to the work involved, and to all other laws and regulations, state or federal, applicable to this project.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids may not be withdrawn by the bidder for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in a final sum equal to 100% of the proposed contract amount. Bonds shall be issued by a surety authorized and licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The undersigned reserves the right to wave informalities, or irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in bids, or to reject all bids or parts thereof.
