Bid security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the General Conditions of the specifications. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding Companies must be listed in the US Treasury Circular 570. The Labor Standards and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents and govern all work under the contracts. All contractors and all subcontractors shall carry Workers' Compensation Insurance as required by the laws of Pennsylvania. See General Conditions of the Specifications for Commercial General Liability, Automobile Policy, and Umbrella or Excess Liability insurance requirements. Prevailing wage requirements are applicable to this project. All work to be completed in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the owner for a period not to exceed thirty-five (35) days from the date bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
