BLASTING SCHEDULE H&K Group, Inc., 2052 Lucon Road, P.O. Box 196, Skippack, Pennsylvania 19474 proposes blasting on the Jamico Materials - South Pit quarry operation, SMP #13930301, located in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The quarry is in an area located east of S.R. 903 and approximately one-quarter mile south of the village of Christmans. Blasting will be conducted in compliance with all State and Federal laws between the hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM every day except Sunday, weather permitting. This time schedule may vary on occasion depending on the following emergency conditions: 1. Weather conditions such as fog, heavy rain, snow storms, lightning storms, low cloud cover and thermal inversions. 2. Mechanical and/or electrical failure such as to vehicles, charging equipment or blasting machinery. 3. Dangerous conditions to company personnel, private individuals or equipment. Warning signs will be placed at every entrance of the operation, and the following signals will be used: WARNING BLAST SIGNAL - Three (3) blasts lasting approximately 5 seconds at least one minute prior to detonation.
