MUNICIPAL ADVERTISEMENT BOROUGH OF NORTH CATASAUQUA Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of North Catasauqua will conduct a public hearing and consider the adoption of the ordinance summarized herein, at a meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. At said meeting, Council shall consider enacting, and if appropriate, will take a vote on adopting "An Ordinance of the Borough of North Catasauqua, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, Amending Title Seven – Vehicles and Traffic." The proposed ordinance amends Title Seven, Article III relating to General Parking Regulations to add Section 703-9, titled "Blocking or Saving of Parking Spaces Prohibited." The proposed ordinance prohibits the placing of furniture, garbage cans, cones or any other item or items of any kind in any public street which in any way blocks, reserves, prevents, restricts, or impedes parking. It provides for the confiscation of such items, and it prescribes the penalties for violation of the ordinance. The full proposed text of said ordinance may be examined by any citizen at the Office of the Borough of North Catasauqua, located at 1066 Fourth Street, North Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, 18032, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until the date of the aforesaid Borough Council Meeting. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
