NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Ross Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing and consider the adoption of two ordinances amending the Township's Zoning Ordinance, summarized herein, at a meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building, 250 Anchorage Road, Saylorsburg, PA 18353. At said public hearing, the Board shall consider enacting, and if appropriate, will take a vote on two ordinances amending the Township's Zoning Ordinance as follows: "An Ordinance of the Township of Ross, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Amending Ross Township Zoning Ordinances, as Amended, with Respect to Data Storage Centers and Repealing All Ordinances and Parts of Ordinances Inconsistent Herewith" which amends various sections of the Township Zoning Ordinances to regulate and permit by conditional use data storage centers and data center accessory uses in the General Commercial zoning district, establishes requirements for the application and plan submissions, establishes lot size and buffer yard requirements, establishes parking and screening requirements, establishes requirements for water/sewer planning and stormwater management, establishes noise control standards, establishes requirements for connection agreements with utilities and coordination with emergency management services, requires studies and analysis of community and environmental impacts, and provides provisions to comply with other relevant provisions of the Township Zoning Ordinances. "An Ordinance of the Township of Ross, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Amending Ross Township Zoning Ordinances, as Amended, with Respect to Solar Commercial Facilities and Repealing All Ordinances and Parts of Ordinances Inconsistent Herewith" which amends various sections of the Township Zoning Ordinances to regulate and permit by conditional use solar commercial facilities and solar related equipment in the General Commercial zoning district, establishes requirements for the application and plan submissions, establishes requirements for connection agreements with utilities and coordination with emergency management services, establishes requirements for design and buffer yards and landscaping, establishes requirements for access and parking, establishes requirements for permits and certifications from appropriate agencies, requires a decommissioning plan, establishes minimum standards for lot cover and woodlands removal, and provides provisions to comply with other relevant provisions of the Township Zoning Ordinances.
