INVITATION TO BID Lower Towamensing Township will receive sealed bids for the following road construction materials, of which all quantities will be bid more or less: 1) 200 ton #8 Washed Stone - Delivered 2) 750 ton Superpave 9.5 mm Wearing Course - FOB 3) 300 ton Anti-Skid – Delivered 4) 200 ton Septic Sand (DEP Approved) or PennDOT Type A DEP Septic Concrete Sand – Delivered 5) 200 ton # 57 (2B Stone) - Delivered Bids will be received until 12:00 noon on May 5, 2026 at the Township office 595 Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA 18071, after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond payable to Lower Towamensing Township and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a security that if the bidder is accepted a contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured.
