LOWER SAUCON TOWNSHIP Notice is hereby given that the Council of Lower Saucon Township will conduct a public hearing and consider the adoption of the ordinance summarized herein, at a meeting on May 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to be held at the Lower Saucon Township Municipal Building, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. At said meeting, Council shall consider enacting, and if appropriate, will take a vote on adopting adopting Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-02 "An Ordinance to Amend the Lower Township Code of Ordinances to Define and Add Specific Requirements for Data Centers and Data Center Accessory Uses, and to Provide Provisions for Uses Not Provided for in the Ordinance." The proposed ordinance amends the Township's Code to define the following terms: data center, data center accessory use, cryptocurrency mining facility, and data center equipment; it provides for data center and data center accessory uses as conditional uses in the Light Manufacturing District; and it prescribes the zoning requirements applicable thereto. Copies of the full proposed text of said ordinance may be examined by any citizen at the Office of Lower Saucon Township, at the address above, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on the Township website at www.lowersaucontownship.org, until the date of the aforesaid Council Meeting. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
