LEHIGH VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION (LVPC) FUTURELV UPDATE PUBLIC MEETINGS The LVPC will be hosting public Strategy Labs to gather input on a variety of topics to update FutureLV: The Regional Plan, which is the bi-county comprehensive plan and Metropolitan Transportation Plan. All Strategy Labs will be held at 615 Waterfront Dr, Suite 201, Allentown: May 11, 3 PM: Economy (workforce, economics of land use, community enhancements, education, mineral extraction, agriculture/farmlands industry) May 11, 6:30 PM: Municipal Development and Land Use: Boroughs and Rural Areas (in partnership with Small Cities Lab and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce) May 12, 9 AM: Municipal Development and Land Use: Cities and Suburbs May 13, 9 AM: Transportation (transit, highway/bridge, multimodal, future forces) May 13, 1 PM: Arts and Culture (tourism, parks, recreation, historic sites and preservation) May 18, 3 PM: Environment (climate action, resiliency, natural resources) May 19, 3 PM: Community Infrastructure (sewer and water, stormwater, solid waste management, municipal assets, gas, electric, communications utilities) May 20, 2 PM: Care and Crisis (hazard mitigation, emergency services, health care) May 21, 9 AM: Trends and Future Forces The LEHIGH VALLEY TRANSPORTATION STUDY (MPO) is committed to compliance with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, executive orders, regulations and policies applicable to the programs and activities it administers.
