Facility Address: 900 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071 EPA ID Number: PAD002395887 Befesa Zinc US Inc. has submitted a Class 2 permit modification request to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) pursuant to 40 CFR 270.42. Befesa proposes installing a new pressure differential (PD) railcar unloading area. The new unloading area will consist of a fully enclosed building designed to unload PD railcars, with material conveyed directly to the facility's five existing electric arc furnace (EAF) dust storage silos. The project is solely intended to enhance unloading flexibility and customer service; it will not increase the facility's permitted storage capacity.
