The Department will hold a public hearing to accept additional comments on the documentation and plans associated with the Individual NPDES Permit Application No. PAD130054 for the discharge of stormwater from construction activities to the following receiving watercourses: Fourth Run (HQ-CWF, MF), UNT to Shingle Mill Run (HQ-CWF, MF), Black Creek (HQ-CWF, MF) EV Wetlands The applicant is as follows: • Mora Solar, LLC, 5310 S. Alston Ave, Building 300, Durham, NC 27713-4381 • Contact: Andrew Kielaszek The public hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 6:00 p.m.8:00 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe High School located at 1 Olympian Way, Jim Thorpe, Pa 18229. Representatives from the Department's Waterways & Wetlands Program, the Carbon County Conservation District and Mora Solar will be in attendance. The Department requests that individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Patrica Monahan, Community Relations Coordinator at: pamonahan@pa.gov. The Department will accept requests up to the day of the hearing. The Department requests that individuals limit their testimony to 5 minutes so that all individuals have the opportunity to testify. The Department can only review comments made with regard to the NPDES Permit Application No. PAD130054 documentation and plans. Written copies of oral testimony are requested. All comments, whether delivered orally during the hearing or submitted in writing will carry equal weight and consideration with DEP. Individuals attending the hearing will have the opportunity to testify if they so desire; however, individuals who preregister to testify will be given priority on the agenda. Section 26.6 shall be restated to provide that the Fire Commissioner, Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chiefs shall be appointed by Borough Council annually and serve at the pleasure of council. Further, the Fire Commissioner, Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chiefs and Chairperson of the Borough Emergency Services Committee as a committee shall appoint the remaining officers of the Fire Department. Section 26-7 shall be amended to provide the powers and duties of the Fire Commissioner. Section 26-8 shall be amended to provide the powers and duties of the Fire Chief.
