INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals for the Heller Homestead House Window Restoration & Refurbishment will be received by Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County until 11:00 a.m. on August 27, 2026, at the Township Building. At 11:15 a.m. on August 27, 2026, the proposals will be publicly opened at the Lower Saucon Township Building, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA, 18015-5426. The Work will include supplying all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for restoring the historic windows in the Heller Homestead House located at 1890 Friedensville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A copy of all bid documents and details are available at no cost from Lower Saucon Township, by email to Jay Finnigan at manager@lowersaucontownship.org or in person at the Township Building. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the required form, check, or other security acceptable, to the Owner in the amount of $500.00. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the bid opening date except as permitted by law and may not be withdrawn during this period. Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions for work performed on site. This project is subject to the Federal Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions. This contract is subject to the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions. Lower Saucon Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all of Bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the Bids which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.
