NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Lower Macungie Township will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Campus, Meeting Room "A" - 3400 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA 18062. Appeal No. 05-2026 of John & Heather Jansen, 2637 Chardonnay Dr. Macungie, PA 18062. Property is located at 5324 Indian Creek Rd. in the "S" Suburban Residential Zoning District-Lehigh County Tax Parcel No. 548420863608 1. Appellants request special exception approval under Ordinance 2019-10, Chapter 27, Part 26, Section 27-2503.2.B to expand a non conforming accessory structure on a parcel with no primary building by way of adding a 24 x 36 addition to the rear of the building. Appellant further requests relief under Ordinance 2019-10, Chapter 27, Part 26, Section 27-2503.2.B.2 to allow the resulting gross floor area to increase to 136% where 125% is permitted by ordinance. All applicants must appear at the hearing and any interested parties are invited to attend the hearing. The Lower Macungie Township Municipal Building is accessible to the physically handicapped.
