PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners, at their November 9, 2026 public meeting, to be held at 7:00 p.m. in the public meeting room of the Whitehall Township Municipal Building, 3219 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA 18052, will be conducting a public hearing considering the following proposed Conditional Use pursuant to the Whitehall Township Zoning Ordinance: INDEX #2087-26A – DVS Enterprises, Inc. Site Location: 2252 Quarry Rd. & 4239 Reliance St., Whitehall PA Tax Parcel Identification Nos. 548915220008 and 548925411178. Subject property is located in an OS-2, Open Space – Limited Industrial Zone. Applicant is requesting conditional use approval pursuant to §27-69 D (9) of the Whitehall Township Zoning Ordinance regarding the approval of the expansion of the reclamation of the property which was previously used for quarrying activities. Applicants, and all interested parties MUST appear at this hearing to be considered. The Whitehall Township Municipal Building is accessible to the physically handicapped. Proof for this exemption shall include such person's Form DD-214 and a declaration of such service-related disability by the United States Veterans Administration. B. Any person who serves as a member of a reserve component of the armed forces and is called to active duty at any time during the taxable year. For purposes of this section, "reserve component of the armed services" shall mean the United States Army Reserve, United States Navy Reserve, United States Marine Corps Forces Reserve, United States Coast Guard Reserve, United States Air Force Reserve, the Pennsylvania Army National Guard or the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. A copy of such person's deployment orders shall be sufficient proof to qualify for this exemption. The reason for this tax is to honor those persons who have sacrificed for our country and those persons who are serving in the reserves and called to active duty. It is estimated that the loss of revenue due to these exemptions will not exceed $200.00.
