NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance will be enacted at a meeting of the Borough Council of Jim Thorpe Borough, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, to be held on November 12, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. prevailing time at the Jim Thorpe Borough Municipal Building, 115 E. 10th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA. The Ordinance is entitled " AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE, COUNTY OF CARBON AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE BOROUGH OF JIM THORPE." The summary of the contents of the Ordinance is as follows: 1. Section 500-95 regarding bed-and-breakfast shall be amended and restated as follows to provide for requirements and restrictions regarding bed-and-breakfast concerning parking, number of rooms, bathrooms, supervision, service, onsite sewage disposal, window displays and signs and a sign to be located within each unit of the bed-and-breakfast.
