NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Borough of Alburtis is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms interested in providing Municipal Engineering Services to the Borough of Alburtis for the term beginning January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029.
The selected Municipal Engineer will provide professional engineering services to the Borough, including, but not limited to, general municipal engineering consultation, review of subdivision and land development plans, zoning and development-related matters, stormwater management, roadway and infrastructure projects, preparation and review of engineering plans and specifications, inspections, grant assistance, and other engineering services as requested by Borough Council and Borough administration.
Interested proposers may obtain a complete copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Municipal Engineering Services from the Borough of Alburtis by contacting the Borough Office at (610) 966-4777 or by emailing the Borough Manager at snemeth@alburtis.org.
Sealed proposals shall be clearly marked "Municipal Engineer – RFP" and submitted to:

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of School Directors of Panther Valley School District, in Carbon and Schuylkill Counties, Pennsylvania (the "School District"), proposes to adopt, at a public meeting to be held not less than three (3) days nor more than thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice, a resolution (the "Resolution"), the caption and summary of such proposed Resolution being as follows:
"RESOLUTION
INCURRING NONELECTORAL DEBT TO BE EVIDENCED BY ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION NOTE, SERIES B OF 2026, IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $1,550,000, TO FINANCE A CAPITAL PROJECT FOR A NEW ROOF, AND TO PAY RELATED COSTS OF ISSUING THE NOTE; ACCEPTING A BANK LOAN PROPOSAL; SETTING FORTH THE TERMS AND SUBSTANTIAL FORM OF THE NOTE; PLEDGING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S FULL FAITH, CREDIT AND TAXING POWER, WITHIN THE LIMITS ESTABLISHED BY LAW, TO SECURE THE NOTE; CREATING A SINKING FUND AND APPOINTING A SINKING FUND DEPOSITORY; AND AUTHORIZING RELATED ACTIONS AND DOCUMENTS."
The proposed Resolution can be examined in the office of the Secretary of the Board of the School District located at One Panther Way, Lansford, Pennsylvania, on any open business day of the School District between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Such Resolution may contain blanks, as permitted by the Pennsylvania Local Government Unit Debt Act (the "Debt Act"), that will be completed prior to its final adoption. A notice of the adoption of the Resolution, including a description of any amendments, will be advertised in accordance with the Debt Act. This Notice is given in accordance with the Debt Act.
